Specimen #014 – Canary Garden
The brightest bird always finds the quietest flower.
Specimen #014 – Canary Garden is a botanical ring of exceptional narrative detail — a yellow-and-coral hand-enamelled bird perches on a dark green leaf, surrounded by a lilac enamel flower and tiny red-orange crystal blossoms on a hammered gold band. The bird's chest is dotted with a red roundel; its tail fades to coral.
The composition is alive with movement — the bird mid-turn, its eye a perfect black dot, the flower nodding slightly beneath it as if wind-touched. The hammered band grounds everything in something imperfect and real. This is not a still life; it is a captured second from a garden that existed exactly once.
Specimen #014. 10 pieces in this numbered edition. The canary will not return to this garden.
