Specimen #023 – Violet Bird & Red Rose
The wildest birds find the reddest flowers.
Specimen #023 – Violet Bird & Red Rose is a baroque composition of maximum colour intensity — a vivid purple, green, and yellow hand-enamelled bird perches on one end of a polished gold open band, while a sculptural red enamel rose in full bloom, surrounded by emerald-green leaves and a brilliant-cut clear crystal solitaire, blazes on the other.
The bird is painted in purple and chartreuse, with a grey breast and black eye — an exotic species from a garden that never existed and yet feels entirely true. The red rose is fully dimensional, its petals layered and curled, the gold edging precise. The crystal beside it is a cool counterpoint to the red heat of the bloom.
Specimen #023. One of the most collectible pieces in The Last Bloom Archive. 10 numbered editions only.
